Ok, so it's been a super long weekend and I did get LOTS done! I am really liking how this card came out! Guess what?? It's not a Side or Stair Step Card! LOL!!! My friend Sharon has crowned me not only "Queen" of step cards but I am now the "Ambassador" per her comment on the post below. LOL!! I Love it...Oh and yes she will be right behind me. You've got to check out her card HERE! Ok, so where was I???
Oh, yes this card was a fun one to make using Stampin' Up!'s great punches. Again I'm using my daughter's School colors. I got this idea from our Stampin' success magazine we get every month. There was the cute lil "Owl" staring at me ; ) it was created by Lyssa Zwolanek. Be on the look out for more of this little guy as He is very addicting to make. Next time I make him his feet are going to be either Only Orange or Pumpkin pie. I think the Tango Tangerine is too Orangey? Or is it just me? Hmmm!!!!
Supplies used: All Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Stamp Set: Great Grads
Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Going Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White, So saffron (beak), Tango Tangerine (feet), Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Basic Black, Basic Gray
Accessories: Grograin Ribbon, SU Punches - Scallop, 1 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 (retired) circle punches, Small Tag, Boho Blossoms (feet), 5-petal Flower (beak), Round Tab & word window, Dimensionals
Ok, I think that's it. Back to more stampin!
Thanks for stopping by & Happy Stampin',

So glad you are enjoying the little owl! I am thrilled that I could provide some inspiration to the stamping community which has done so much for me. Your card is very cute!

This is a darling card! I made this little owl just tonight before seeing your card, and was looking for googly eyes, couldn't find them, and so now I see I can just use black circles - thanks for inspiring!
